Dedicated Suppressed — The Feature, Not the Limitation

The Mach barrel will not cycle without a suppressor attached — and that's exactly what makes it exceptional. By sizing the gas port exclusively for suppressed use with conventional baffle suppressors, the Mach barrel eliminates the gas blowback, harsh recoil, and accelerated wear that plague standard gas ports when running cans that create back-pressure. Most barrels try to be decent at everything; the Mach barrel is the king of one thing: flat, smooth, controllable suppressed shooting with conventional baffle cans like the RC2, Turbo T2, Polonium, and Sandman series. If you run a conventional suppressor 100% of the time, Mach is one of the best options in existence.

Built to Solve the Conventional Suppressor Problem - High Flow Restriction

Conventional baffle suppressors — SureFire RC2, YHM Turbo T2 and Resonator K, Otter Creek Polonium, Dead Air Sandman series, SilencerCo Saker — work by trapping combustion gases and spreading pressure release over time to reduce sound signature. The tradeoff is back-pressure: trapped gas has to go somewhere, and on a standard AR-15, it vents back through the gas system and into the receiver.

The result with a standard gas port? Gas in your face, harsh recoil impulse, violent bolt carrier speed, and accelerated wear on components. Most shooters band-aid the problem with adjustable gas blocks, heavy buffers, heavy springs, special BCGs, or all of the above — solutions that add complexity, cost, decrease reliability, and still don't eliminate the core issue.

The Mach barrel solves it at the design level. The suppressor-sized gas port meters exactly the right amount of gas to cycle the action reliably when a conventional baffle suppressor is attached, without the excessive pressure that creates blowback and harsh recoil. The rifle shoots flat, stays smooth, and doesn't gas you out — without adjustable parts or tuning required.

Optimized for: SureFire RC2, YHM Turbo T2 and Resonator K, Otter Creek Polonium, Dead Air Sandman, SilencerCo Saker, and other conventional cone baffle suppressors.

Materials Are Important: 4150 CrMoV + H&M Nitride — Built to Last

Mach barrels are machined from 4150 CrMoV ordnance-grade steel and treated with H&M Black Nitride for maximum durability and service life — built to withstand the heat and wear of sustained suppressed fire with conventional baffle suppressors.

The combination of premium steel and permanent nitride treatment means the Mach barrel maintains its reliability over extended use. Built for shooters running high round counts who need components that perform consistently when it matters most.
